Statement by Debra Reiger, Peace and Freedom Party Acting State Chair on December 6, 2013.
The Peace and Freedom Party of California grieves the loss of Nelson Mandela and sends condolences to his family and to the people of South Africa.
We celebrate his strength and determination, and we note the amazing accomplishments he made for socialjustice and political change in the face of seemingly insurmountable resistance from those who were in power.
